NOVEMBER TEEN MASS - Nov. 17th 

Our next Teen Mass is November 17 at the 6:15 Mass at St. Ann. Similar to Family Mass, we invite our teens to do a reading or bring up the gifts. Fr. Paul also tailors his homily to be relevant to their life and there is contemporary music at the Mass. If your teen is interested in bringing up the gifts or doing a reading please email Matt Brady.

 

 

November Sandwich Making for Capuchin Mobile Ministries
November 18 at 6:30 pm, St. John 
Join us as we make sandwiches for Fr. Paul and the team from Capuchin Mobile Ministries to distribute to the homeless in Boston and Cambridge. All are welcome!

 

 

Thanksgiving Mass at Saint Ann's at 8:00. 
Father will be Blessing the Breads to be served at your Thanksgiving Dinner.
Please bring your bread to Mass.

 

 

Our next Family Mass is December 8 at
the 9:30 Mass at St. John. We invite our kids to do the readings and bring up the gifts, and Fr. Paul has the kids join him around the altar for the homily. There is also coffee and donuts
in the back of the church after Mass. If your child is interested in bringing up the gifts or doing a reading, please email Matt Brady.

 

 

CHRISTMAS SHARING

After surveying our Christmas Sharing families, we will again ask you for gift cards that will be distributed to the families and senior citizens. The following stores are preferred: Target,Walmart, Kohl’s, Amazon, We are asking for gift cards in any amount up to $50. This will allow us the flexibility to give an amount appropriate to the family or senior citizen. We will also need $25 Trucchi’s or Market Basket cards for families and Senior Citizens, and items for the Senior Citizens’ gift bags. All gift cards should be placed in an envelope marked “Christmas Sharing” in the St. Vincent dePaul boxes at the doors of the church, or sent to Linda Santry. They must be received by December 5th, to allow the parents’ time to purchase gifts before
Christmas. Checks should be made out to St. Ann's, with "Christmas Sharing" in the memo line.

There is a box at the rear of the church for Senior Citizens gift bag items. This year we will also be collecting toys for the parents to choose from for their children. There will be a bin in the back of the church for you to place new toys for children aged 1 to 16. See the handout on November 9/10th for more details.

Introducing the Collaborative Children's Choir! 

All kids in grades 3 and up are welcome to join. No singing experience needed! Rehearsals will be on Thursdays at 5:30 at St. John starting October 10. For more information, contact our music director Rich Cesarini at richcesarini@gmail.com 

 


 

ADULT CONFIRMATION CLASSES

Classes will be beginning soon for any adult who has not received the Sacrament of Confirmation but is looking to do so. Please contact Matt Brady for more information.

   

***Interested in Becoming Catholic? Never Been Confirmed but Want to be?

We have a program for you!

RCIA (the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is the process by which adults who are not members of Church can receive the sacraments and become a Catholic.

We also will be holding a 6 week class for anyone who has  never been Confirmed but has already been Baptized and received First Communion.

These are an uncertaint times and, if you’re like me, we look for reassurance during such moments. One of the ways my mother used toMy Dear Friends in Christ, reassure my siblings and me was to read to us. They were always entertaining, and had a message for us that gave comfort to us. In that same vein, I will be offering "Story Time with Fr. Paul and Nellie". From the warm confines of my she'll be there for emotional support for us all!) from various books that I hope will be of comfort and reassurance. I will be doing this by way of Facebook Live, and I invite you to join me.So, after "online school" has let out and supper has been served, please join me (by way of Facebook Live) on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. for "Storytime With Fr. Paul and Nellie". I pray that this will give comfort and support to all, young and young-at-heart!
